Here we go – Adventure time!

Scott and I certainly started this trip off in style!!

I had a very special surprise on my birthday when Scott proposed!! A total shock for me (yes, even after almost 8 years together, I was still had no idea!)  But it was very exciting and a great start to our adventure together!

An engagement present meant we got upgraded to Business so the first leg of our very long journey was pretty awesome! However moving back to economy today for the international flight was not so much fun…especially with the odd lady in front of us, who refused to get out of her chair to let anyone out, so they all had to clamber over the top of her!

Currently we are waiting in Kuala Lumpur, we have a long stopover here before we get on the long plane ride to Amsterdam. The terminal is spread out so plenty of space to walk laps and easy to find a quiet corner. There’s even a rainforest in the middle which is pretty awesome, very random though!

Looking forward to arriving in Amsterdam, but in the meantime, lots of waiting and a very long plane ride to go!
